The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) in conjunction with Impact Pointe Consultancy Limited, today organized a 2-day grant writing and application training retreat, at the Joshesther Olive Hotel, off Salvation Road, Opebi.

The theme of the training is Funding Interventions for a Sustainable Lagos and it aims at arming LASEPA officials with the requisite skills and knowledge required to write successful grant proposals and access funding opportunities for environmental projects and initiatives.

The General Manager of LASEPA, Dr. Babatunde Ajayi, in his opening remarks, emphasized the importance of grant writing and application skills in securing funding for environmental projects.

He noted that the training was a crucial step towards achieving LASEPA’s goals of promoting environmental sustainability through provate public partnership.

The training will feature expert facilitators from Impact Pointe Consultancy Limited, who lead participants through interactive sessions on grant writing, application, and management. Participants will also have the opportunity to share their experiences and challenges in accessing funding for environmental projects.
