The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency LASEPA is partnering Airquo, to organize the Year 2024 World class standard
Clean air forum in Lagos State, with the theme: ”Advancing Collaborations and Multi- Regional Partnership for Clean Air actions in African cities.” from July 8th-12th, 2024.
The forum aims to address the issue of air pollution in Africa to chart a course for improving air quality in Africa, through an acceptable policy framework for a healthy citizenry.
Over 350 participants from over 40 countries will be attending the conference in Nigeria across the globe.
The participants represent the air quality communities in Africa, comprising stakeholders including policymakers, representatives from civil society organizations, the private sector, development partners, and the scientific communities.
The clean air forum is organized by AirQo, a pan-African research initiative at Makerere University, Uganda in partnership with the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) and hosted by the Air Quality Monitoring Research Group (AQMRG) and EUEPiN from the University of Lagos, UrbanBetter, among other stakeholders.
It is a collaboration aimed at bringing experts together to share ideas on improving the quality of air breathed in Africa for a healthy citizenry.
