In a significant effort to combat noise pollution and other environmental violations, LASEPA carried out a thorough enforcement operation yesterday in strategic areas including Ikate Surulere, Ijesha, Lawson, Itire, Ojota and Adeola Odeku, Victoria Island within Lagos State.
Despite repeated warnings, numerous establishments, including hotels, church, guest house, bars, fast food outlet and a company persisted in violating LASEPA’s directives. Consequently, these establishments have been temporarily closed to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Among the affected establishments are Dohela Hotel, De Clove Residence, Mas Ever Best Guest House, Sweet Spot, Serena Hotel, Salt of Life Church, Iya Ore Bar, Michelle Nigeria Bonded Terminal, and Norma.
LASEPA underscores the critical importance of businesses adhering to environmental standards, reaffirming its commitment to fostering a harmonious and sustainable environment for Lagos residents.
