LASEPA joined the inaugural ‘Eko Waste Summit 2024,’ organized by WAMASON in conjunction with other relevant stakeholders. The Summit marks the first edition of this crucial event, with the objective to achieve net-zero emissions through circular economy principles, innovation, investment, and effective policy implementation efforts to meet the Paris Agreement’s goals of reducing emissions by 45% by 2030 and reaching net zero by 2050 through collaborative efforts.

The event held at Neca House, Alausa served as a crucial platform for experts to convene and discuss strategies for achieving zero emissions through circular economy principles, innovation, investment, and policy implementation.

During the summit, the GM of LASEPA, via his presentation, highlighted LASEPA’s multifaceted engagement in e-waste management, encompassing critical functions such as air quality monitoring and emissions testing/control.
