A delegation of LASEPA led by the GM, Dr Babatunde Ajayi visited the Lagos State University of Education (LASUED) Oto/Ijanikin Campus for familiarization and collaborative discussion yesterday.

The visit according to the GM was initiated by the Lagos State Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources Mr Tokunbo Wahab who emphasized the importance of partnership and collaboration in knowledge sharing for sustainable development. Hence, he directed LASEPA to engage with Universities and other Institutions in Lagos for collaboration and partnership in research development and other areas towards achieving a sustainable environment.

Dr. Ajayi underscored the role of academia in driving progress and the significance of collaboration in advocating for sustainability and conducting research on environmental issues.
The delegation was warmly received by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Bilikis Bidemi Lafiaji Okuneye.

In response, Prof. Okuneye expressed gratitude for the visit.
