The GM LASEPA, Dr Babatunde Ajayi was honored to be a panelist at the 9th Edition of the Green Finance Conference held at the Oriental Hotel. The conference focused on the theme “The Role of Africa’s Private Sector in the Paris Agreement on Climate Change.” During the conference, Dr. Babatunde Ajayi shared insights on government policies, finance, regulations, and policy formulation concerning climate change issues in Lagos State. Specifically, he emphasized the importance of addressing emissions from industries and implementing measures to mitigate carbon footprints.
As a panelist, Dr. Babatunde Ajayi underscored LASEPA’s commitment to working closely with industries to facilitate compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainable practices. He stressed the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors in achieving the goals set forth in the Paris Agreement on Climate Change.
