Earlier today, LASEPA in collaboration with the Climate Transition Academy organized a one-day training for accredited environmental consultants in Lagos. During the training, the GM LASEPA, Dr. Babatunde Ajayi emphasized the importance of adopting the global ESG model to address climate change challenges and other environmental issues.

The training aimed to update consultants on current trends and increase their capacity to manage environmental problems effectively. Dr. Ajayi highlighted the agency’s commitment to a cleaner, safer Lagos, mentioning recent enforcement measures against noise pollution and other infractions.

The program included facilitators, such as Mr. James Ogunleye, Executive Director of Carbon Limits Nigeria, who emphasized the evolving role of consultants in addressing global environmental issues.
