Head, Engineering Services
Adedayo Babatunde Adereti, heads the Engineering Services Unit of the Agency and is a Masters Degree holder in Chemical Engineering with the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers and Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers as well as a registered Engineer with the Council of Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).
Engr. Adereti possesses an international General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety which he obtained with distinction in the National Examination Board on Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH). Engr. Adereti is also a registered lead auditor in Quality Management System (QMS); ISO 9001:2008 with the International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA).
He worked briefly for a private firm, Tubara & Sons International Limited which was into Mining of Baryte Ore. He served as a project supervisor for her mining operations in Ibi Local Government Area of Taraba State from September 1997 to June 1999.
Engr. Adereti Adedayo gained employment into the Lagos State Civil Service as a Pupil Engineer (Chemical) and has served in various departments of the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency such as Research & Development, Data Management Unit and Engineering Services and has attended several courses on behalf of the state amongst which is the Disaster Management Course at the Command and Staff College in Jaji organized for Senior Officers of the Armed Forces, Nigeria Police and Emergency Agencies in the country.
As a result of his wealth of experience and professionalism on the job he was assigned the responsibility of heading Engineering Services Unit of the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA).
